PROBLEMS IN AND AROUND EAVES, ROOFS & WALLS
When cracks form around the eave or roof area in a home, or in a large part
of a wall, this generally indicates settling in a substantial
portion of the foundation.
Another common problem is walls or other structural members such as
fireplaces or
columns tilting.
These
sorts of problems are most often caused by voids in the soil under the foundation,
or a foundation that is insufficient for the soil conditions on which the
structure is built.
Luckily, with today's grouting technologies, these kind of problems can often
be solved without having to re-do portions of the foundation or house structure
itself.
Gibson offers the ability to help determine the exact cause such settling and
a variety of solutions to not only prevent further settling, but can often
raise the foundation back up to it's original position.
If you have problems that you feel could be caused by foundation settling,
contact Gibson and we will assist you in a quick resolution.
